Your Santa Clara County Library in your hands!
Search for books, DVDs, audiobooks, CDs and more. Place holds or renew items, check out our latest reading lists, follow our blog and tweets, or contact us. We are here to help!
We've also included a great new way to search our books. No need to search by field, no need to enter full words, no need to wait for results. Just type the first couple of letters of words and see the search in action while you type. So for books on "Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis" simply type "ja ke on". Or to search for "Beach Road" by James Patterson simply type "be ro ja pat".
We've invested in the latest mobile solution for libraries and we'll be adding new content over time. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

A very basic interface lacking needed features such as calendar support (for due dates, etc), Wallet Passes (apps that display barcodes internally are less convenient than library cards), TouchID/FaceID (for persistent login) & the user interface needs to be revamped to have more internal consistency.
The app doesn't really have any features to recommend it over the main website.
Accounts broken: can’t use it to place holds
Why would you want a mobile app for your local library? To place holds on items when you’re away from your computer! What feature is completely broken from the outset? The ability to link the app to your library card. It gives me an error page.
Yes, you can search the catalog and library hours, but that can be done at the webpage through a browser app just as easily. Just bookmark the webpage and save space on your device.
One of the worst designed library apps I have used
This app is too slow, has poorly-designed behavior (why would you need my location data if I'm only asking for the hours at a specific library for example) and seems to not have anyone actively working on the app (never any updates as far as I can see). Avoid this - just use the web site associated with your local library system.
The developer, Boopsie, Inc., has not provided details about its privacy practices and handling of data to Apple.
No Details Provided
The developer will be required to provide privacy details when they submit their next app update.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
