Some Suggestions

This is only for the app not the company or computer version.
My salon has been using this service for quite some time now. Which we love! I just started using the app instead of using it in my Safari. There are a few things that I highly recommend converting from the regular site to the app.
1- instead of just one day or 1 week view at a time. Please add in 3 day view. It helps to see a couple days in advance when trying to book clients.
2- in the week view mode, please show appt info (client name) instead of just solid blocks of color.
3- please show new clients with a star next to their name like the online version.
4- when clicking on the calendar view to be able to look out months at a time. Please add on a button that will bring you back to today’s date instead of having to scroll back to the current month and day. Let’s say I’m on a date two months out, a button I can press to bring me back to today’s schedule will be very convenient.
5- when clicking on an appt and seeing the appt info please show who made the appt, the client or a provider.
6- it would be nice to be able to customize our app to suit our own individual needs. There is only a background and color customize option right now.

Old versions were better

I’ve had Schedulicity for almost 2 years. Recent updates have not been for the better. They have reduced the free booking limit from 20 to 10, and lately my schedule times have been reset to a default time instead of what I originally set them too. This has caused clients to book outside my regular hours or on days I intended to take off so I have had to call them and ask them to reschedule. Very inconvenient and embarrassing. Doesn’t not make my business look good. Currently looking into other scheduling app options.

I'd love to shed a little light on the decision to change the free account from 20 bookings per month to 10.

We’re still a relatively small and growing company, and we've been busy adding infrastructure and making our platform even more powerful, and adding more improvements and functionality than ever before. We've listened to feedback, and while we aren't making any changes to our prices, we are reducing the number of appointments in the free account. This is because the Unlimited Bookings Plus add-on now not only gives you as many booking as you'd like each month; it also includes access to our marketplace and search portal, the ability to use our new in house payment processor (Schedulicity Pay, which comes with some really killer rates that we worked hard to drive down), and the ability to create and sell products. Essentially, we've really jazzed up the Unlimited Booking Plus feature so that it can be a real game changer for your business, and is more than just access to booking as many appointments as you'd like.

That said, it's still totally optional, and we've made sure that the free account is still a fab starter option for small businesses and people who are getting started, and you're able to create appointments, send out marketing emails to your clients, run reports, add scheduling buttons to your website, and all of that goodness.

In regards to unexpected changes in your schedule, I hate to hear that this snuck up on you. I completely understand how this would be super embarrassing and inconvenient. I encourage you to give our Support Rockstars a call at 1-877-582-0494 so we can look into this, find the root cause, and make sure we prevent this in the future.

One more suggestion for the App

This is my sixth year with Schedulicity and it’s terrific. It’s better than any other scheduling software I’ve tried (I used two before switching to Schedulicity), and I also appreciate the timely responses from their support. I just wish, when using the app, that I could book recurring appointments. I can do this easily in the full website version but it isn’t available in the app.

Hey Erin, we sure appreciate the kind words! I've got some good news; you can totally book recurring appointments from the app! When you're on the New Appointment screen, scroll down and tap "Occurs Once" and you can change this to every week, every 2 weeks, every 3 weeks, etc—there are a bunch of options there!
