Some glitches

I love how this app categories my list by aisle. So it’s super easy to find my things. But I noticed the app sometimes deletes items off my list? For example I’ll add milk to my list, then I’ll go shopping and it’s no longer on my list, I have to remember to get it. That’s happened several times. Also there are several items that are assigned to the wrong categories and I wish I could manually go in and assign a food item to the correct aisle. But other than those few glitches I love the coupons and bonus points.

They love to add bells and whistles but basic functionality is low priority.

I love the whole blinking light on the items tag in the store when I’m having a hard time locating something. I like that we can zoom in on images now too. But that’s frill stuff. It’s fluff. The thing the app MUST do is retain our lists accurately and it does not do that. What I HATE and get so freaking angry about is random items being DELETED from our shopping list. Or the account not syncing. I’ll add something to the list and TWELVE HOURS LATER it’s still not showing on my husband’s phone despite being logged in to the same account. And don’t even try to say that we should be having our own accounts, because I don’t know any household that has separate shopping lists on every phone. Every other shopping app does this beautifully Walmart, Costco, Sam’s... You guys do not. It’s the worst.

Oh and let’s talk about random items being ADDED to our list that we didn’t add. My husband usually does the shopping because it’s right by his work. At least he’s a smart guy and when he sees something odd he’ll ask before buying. But I can never tell what is actually on his list and if it matches what’s on the list I made. I can’t tell you how many times he has come home and he’s missing many items that I had on the list but he didn’t buy them because they weren’t on his!! SERIOUSLY?

This is the kind of thing that makes this app completely useless. Get it together. It’s 2023 and this is basic functionality.

Does not work at self check out

I’ve had this app for quite some time and it used to work at self check out when entering in my phone number but now it does not work. It hasn’t for quite some time (not really sure when it started so who knows how many points I missed out on) and is forcing me to use the check out line. I don’t have a problem with using the check out line but when I have one item and have to wait behind someone with a cart full of stuff it gets annoying. It works fine for the regular check out line but I’d like to be able to use this app when I’m in a hurry or only have one item. There should be a way to scan the barcode in the app at the self check out (just like they can do in the line) OR there should be a way to scan a barcode on the receipt to redeem point just like ANY OTHER MODERN APP. I thought when downloading this that it would be great and a decent way to save money on things I use often but the annoyance of the app never working doesn’t make it worth it.

Right now, the only way to earn point at the shelf checkout is by entering your phone number on the pin pad. If you can please call customer service at 314–994–4400 to let them know which store you are experiencing issues with we'll be sure to investigate further. Every self check out should award you points.
