What a GREAT app!

This app is a gem in terms of recording the history of Southern Ohio. Very well written, historically accurate articles. Including not only the local events but linking them to how they also reflected national trends makes the articles much more informative.

If you live in the area or have reason to want to learn more about the history of the Portsmouth or Southern Ohio region I strongly recommend this app.

Fantastic App!

Sure, I’m a Portsmouth native. I’m also an avid researcher. This app is amazing! Well done, Dr. Feight and Shawnee State team!

Being from Scioto County, I've heard a lot of stories about the area. I've known for years that Portsmouth, as well as the surrounding areas, had a rich history. It's really neat to see a lot of the history and corresponding pictures in one place. Right now it seems to be a work in progress, a lot of historical points say "information coming soon" or something like that. If they keep up the work, this could be an awesome app! I heard about this app from one of my classmates at S.S.U. I'm glad too. I definitely recommend it to people that are interested in the history of the area, despite the fact that it isn't 100% complete yet. Keep up the good work!
