The app continue to improve. Now it’s at the level of the best ones in the world
Needs a lot of improvements
I have been user for several years of Scotiabank, and when we finally get the online access, everything seems to work great, but after some years realized that app needs a lot of improvements.
1. It is high security algorithms that not even the customers can get in. I live in USA and I cannot enter from my USA phone, that is terrible.
2. Every single time there is any update on my account, affects my access, so I have to erase and download the app again, no good
3. Sometimes when I have to change password or change something, the app never sends the link or message, and I try to send the message again, but since I didn’t get the link, account gets locked
Not Ready for Prime Time
The basic functions work just as any other banking app. A big differentiator for me is the app ability to create transaction tokens. It’s been ~1.5 months and the app can’t facilitate this function, it continues to be unavailable, very unacceptable in my mind. I can’t make any use of this application if one can’t make transactions to other banks, pay services, or even view a monthly statement (which too requires a token). Hopefully soon this app can level off with the ones from other banks like BBVA, CitiBank, right now it’s below my expectations.
