Learn and practise Scottish Gaelic verbs with this interactive verb reference and drill tool. With over 160 core verbs represented in the present, past, future and conditional tenses, with irregular dependent forms included where appropriate, Verb Blitz is a clear and effective way to refresh and revise your grammar skills as well as expand your everyday vocabulary.

As well as a verb reference, there is a set of intensive verb drill activities to quiz your conjugation knowledge, including:

- Infinitive quiz: do you know the meaning of the each verb?
- Conjugation quiz: can you select the correct verb form for the English translation?
- Snap quiz: can you spot when the Gaelic and English sentences match? Try to get ten in a row!
- Gapfill: can you spell out the missing word in the conjugated sentence?

The app will track your scores throughout the games, so you can check in the Performance section at any time to see the verb entries you are finding trickiest.

Would be better if I could hear the words

This is a nice app, but it would be better if the words could be pronounced like they are in the Spanish app. Especially because Gaelic spelling is so different from English spelling, hearing the pronunciation is important. But it is still a nice app other than that.

Mòran taing, really happy to read that you found the app helpful! There is limited text-to-speech enabled for the header word, verbal noun and past participle of each verb, but we'd definitely like to add more into the rest of the tables in the near future too.
