Not great, but okay

I was anticipating function similar (not identical) to sidecar; another functional screen. That's more my fault for not reading carefullly enough, I suppose.

Anyway, it worked perfectly the first time I tried it, which is a nice surprise after reading the reviews. (For everyone having trouble I wonder if they granted permission to the app to record the screen; failing to do so would definitely make for "Doesn't work/nothing but a blank screen" results.

This doesn't give you another usable screen: Just a (slightly delayed) mirrored display inside a browser window. You could set the browser to full screen and have a non-functional, mirror display on your phone/tablet. If that's something that would be useful to you, this is a great free solution.

Works Great!

This app works great for me. I needed for the purpose of mirroring my main Mac and it does it. Plain and simple. If you read closeley they are giving you a chance to try before you buy. For me that's fine. So I paid it. $10 bucks is nothing, I spend more on lunch regularly.

This app gets a hard NO from me

Installed the app because it says it offers a free version, but the second you open it up, you're quickly greeted with the fact that it's only for 60 seconds and then you have to pay for the premium app. That's really borderline bait and switch, shame on the dev. This shouldn't be listed as a free app but of course the dev has figured out how to get around that and then strong arm people into paying for the premium version as soon as they have your app on your computer. 60 seconds is definitely not enough time for a user to decide if the app is complete junk, but the dev likely knows this and so wants you to drop your money right away so that once you figure out that you're unhappy with it, it's too late, you've already paid your money. There are a lot of really amazing apps out there on the app store that don't pull this kind of game, this is not one of them. Will 100% NOT recommend.

Screen Mirroring

Why is it I used to have access to screen mirror and now Apple has decided after all this time to make it a Premium Subscription based item. That shouldn't be something paid for especially at such a high price, but even at that it shouldn't require payment at all when it was already previously provided for free and it seems to have come out with one of the most recent updates. I get some of the other Premuim benefit maybe costing a little, but the screen mirroring between your own devices...?

Only 60 second trial

Installed this app because it popped up when I searched Duet Display. I didn't realize it was not the same and App listing said it was free. When I tried it - it was only 60 seconds (though you can retry) and then tells you there is a need to pay for the Premium app. All it did was display my screen on my main monitor multiple times instead of sending to display. Spent time troubleshooting with no success. The issue may be that I was trying to send to an iPhone and perhaps it only works with iPad.

Waste of $15

I followed the instructions, entered the URL, and got nothing but a blank screen , and then a message that Safari couldn't display the page because your server wasn't responding. Refreshing the page didn't remedy this.
Additionally, I was unable to do anything until I paid for it.
I am trying to cast MP4 video from a Macbook Air to a Samsung 8 series TV, or the Mirascreen dongle attached to it. If i try to cast to the TV, I am asked for an "Airplay password", which no one seems to know how to obtain. And there is no "Airplay" option in the WiFi menu in the menu bar, as metioned in the Mirascreen instructions. Asearch of the Big Sur version of MacOS doesn't even show the word "Airplay".
What can I do to get this working? If there si nothing that can be done, can I get my $15 back?

BTW: TheM Mirascreen works on my iPhone 8.

DON"T WASTE YOUR TIME OR STORAGE SPACE ON THIS APP

free, okay shhhweet!... down loaded it, opened it, makes you choose one of two options; either click on a 60 second trial!!? or upgrade now for $9.99... WOW, Seriously?! does this type of trickery really help sell your app? Not only was it a waste of my time, it was dishonest. IF A COMPANY HAS TO TRICK SOMEONE INTO BUYING THEIR PRODUCT THEN WHAT DOES THAT SAY ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT AND THE INTEGRATY OF THE COMPANY? Maybe 61 seconds is the amount of time you need in order to realize how bad this app is. Writing this review was NOT a waste of my time, but down loading this app sure was.

UPGRADE TO PREMIUM to do... anything?

Don't waste your time, this appears to be shovelware that just wants your credit card number. Here's my journey:

Downloaded, ran it, immediately got a popup to UPGRADE TO PREMIUM. Err.. I have no idea if it even does anything other than just asks for money, yet!

Okay, so I dismiss that popup, there's a system dialog that tells me to click a button and open a page on my local machine. Clicking the button gives me the UPGRADE TO PREMIUM dialog again.

Clear out that dialog, try to copy the URL so I can paste it in Chrome... can't be copied.

Fine, I'll manually type it in. Type it in, get greeted with a completely blank page.

Okay, guess I'm uninstalling.

does not work.

all this did was force me to enter my payment info. then it sent me a link to type into safari that mirrored the screen in that thousands of times like one of those art pieces with a photo within a photo over and over. this did not provide a way to mirror my computer screen to my tv.. like what I was trying to do. This is the worst app ive ever come across. very misleading.

Lessons learned: ;) ,

Too dificult to connect device to TV.

I gave up after about one hour of trying to make the connection, including watching several tutorials. I called AppleCare, in hopes they woould provide direction - my error, as I thought Apple provides support for Apps. Applecare showed me that I had a Mirroering or AirPlay App included with my new Ventura OS.
Another bit of learning: That I could have sought support from the App seller; next time.
