Nice app!

I already regularly use my iPhone with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, so I was pretty familiar with the set up already. I think you made it as easy as possible, and included easy to get to support which answers everything as well.

I know there's only so much you can do with the cursor - unfortunately it's a bit hard to control.

I don't think protected video works either, which is kind of a shame. I originally got this app hoping I can use Fitness in a small corner of my Mac screen. As I'm sure you're aware, a regular screen mirror takes up the whole Mac screen.

Fixing these is probably beyond your control, but I think it would make the app just about perfect for me if it were possible.

A big plus is I can finally use the Journal app on my Mac 😅

A side note, when I originally launched this app and had it up and working. The iPhone screen in portrait was a good size, but switching it over to landscape increased the window to larger than my Macbook Air display could handle. I had to change the display size/resolution thing to 'More Space' just to be able to grab the corner to resize it.

glitchy.

Took three tries just to get my phone hooked up. Blue tooth option never finalized. ever. Codes were validated on booth devices...then nothing.

Finally got it connected via iPhone cable to USB to USB connector into MacBook Pro. MacBook Pro do not have USB connections. Very old technology. Once it was connected, I was pretty impressed as I saw immediately what my iPhone was looking at through the iPhone camera. Oddly enough, it was looking at me, looking at it, looking at me. But I was completely unable to control the iPhone camera via iPhone first as I was not able to control it via the Mac. Only view the iPhone recording via thethe image on my MacBook Pro. That is the sole reason why I got this. Maybe I was mistaken. If I was mistaken… Then no big deal. But, I was also able to watch video of my iPhone on my MacBook Pro screen. I had to hit the record button manually on the Mac. That was pretty impressive. The problem was it completely froze after about 15 seconds. Multiple times. Connecting. Disconnecting. Restarting phone. It simply is just too glitchy.

Developer Response ,

Umm…I’m not clear what you ran into…some of the things you are describing are not features of my app (example seeing/controlling camera/record on the Mac).

You are having a really bad experience with the app, and I would like to help fix that. Messages on the Apple review system take a long time to come through so email is faster tools@toolbunch.com.

If you go home on the phone, do you see the app icons? If not you are likely seeing features of continuity camera and not my app.

Almost doing what I needed

I followed all of the steps and it worked perfectly until I tried to use the mouse. But when I press control option, I am still not able to use the mouse. Any tips or tricks on how to resolve?

I have MacOS Sonoma
