It Works as Advertised, BUT…

I was pleased to see that I can cast things from my iPhone to my TV. It works well. But, I’m not giving 5 stars because I have gotten 7 spam emails from this app in 24 hours, and I can’t see how to stop it. I’m getting notifications that are meaningless and useless, randomly, all day. It’s ridiculous.

First time I have ever written a bad review

I purchased this app for a specific event. I got my phone connected to the TV but it only worked for a second and the screen went black. I am over the fact it didn’t work for me. My issue is that I have asked them to confirm that there is no auto renewal or I want to cancel the auto renewal and the company still hasn’t confirmed that. I have asked them daily for the instructions to ensure I don’t get billed again for something that did not work. I continue to be asked about the model of my phone. The moment has passed, I don’t want to be charged again. I am starting to think that there is some sort of scam. I have looked around the app and the directions say you have to cancel the auto renewal not to get charged again but it is very unclear how. The customer experience is terrible… please just tell me how to cancel the auto renewal!!!

It does exactly what it says it will do 👍

Oh my God this is the best resolution and it doesn’t take a lot of time to get started. This app has various functions that you may need. This is the best app if you’re looking for a screening app you should use this I promise you won’t be disappointed I mean the resolution is good you can even play games on it imagine you have a phone and a TV and you have this app boom you’re a pro game in no time imagine
Been using this this year. Works really well. If your iOS device and receiver (tv) are near your WiFi, it will work fine. Give the app a chance as it’s a great tool once you’ve figured it out 👏

Does not work at all

Don’t waste your money on a subscription.
My RokuTV as appears does not support screen mirroring from iPhone. We had a full house of guests who we promised to to show pictures from our last trip. In a frenzy moment I tried SmartTV Cast and bought a subscription when realised that it won’t cast for free. It presented a button that once pressed blinked/glowed indicating that screen is mirroring. Thing is the whole TV screen was blinking in the rhythm of the button, even the button was no longer on screen. Screen was mirroring not for long, almost immediately it started lagging, forget about video or live photos, just showing simple pictures. Soon it was completely untethered to the phone seemingly reacting to change of screen happened long time before. Save money for something better

Seems Shady

I was trying to figure out if I could screen cast using my Roku. Turns out that only certain screens and videos are able to be casted. In the process of experimenting, this app allowed me to “try it”. Please read this and take my advice, don’t click “try it”. When doing so, it automatically charged me a one year subscription and $32 was instantly taken from my Apple account. I am working with customer service through Apple to get refunded. I highly advise finding a different app that is not going to steal your money. By the way, the moment I realized this app wasn’t going to work, I unsubscribed from what I thought was a free trial. Please take my advice and look elsewhere!

Samsung TV 65 inch, 2018

There seems to be a problem I would get a screen on the top of my Samsung TV set allow connection, but I had no way to allow it. The remote would not move it up there. I can’t get up to that point, so consequently I can’t connect so I would rate this program. That is very unsatisfactory. I would not recommend it.

Persistently trying to get your money.

Since the app popped up several requests to buy their subscription and review the product before I even had the chance to play around with it, this is the rating it has earned. There is a reoccurring subscription cost and if you’re not careful, it’ll even bring up Apple Pay to try to get you to pay for the full year price (not even the monthly price).

If an app tries this hard to get you to pay for it before you even get to demo the product, it’s probably not worth it.

Works, but works slow.

I like this app because I don’t have to use my HDMI cord anymore to display what I’m doing on my phone for my classes. However, it has quite a leg in it. It is one of the options and I will continue to use it and see if I can find ways to, make it better.

Doesn’t work and they refuse to refund

Fraud fraud fraud! Do not purchase. Not sure if it doesn’t work for every tv but it definitely did not work for mine. Instead of reimbursing me they ignored me until they charged me for service prior to any response even though I tried to get refunded almost immediately. After they denied me of a refund I disputed it with apple. Whatever fake claims they said to them denied me from getting reimbursed as well. I will now have to declare fraud from my bank. Lots of wasted time. Stay away!

SCAM ALERT 1212 ,

NO STARS!!!

App does not work with my TV. After following all of the troubleshooting advice within 30 minutes of downloading this app, I contacted them explaining that this app will not work with my TV and requested my subscription be cancelled and I am refunded my money. They responded with making sure both of my devices were connected to the same network. I already had done ALL of the troubleshooting to no avail. I’m disputing the charge with my bank. Terrible company, terrible customer service.
