Application not finished
While the concept is not new or unique and even free versions of such are available, this particular application is not finished developed.
The screen recorder portion works ok, but if a selected area is preferred, no exit or continue button is available. I emailed the developer, with no response.
Won't record system sound
I bought this app hoping to record a webinar that I couldn't attend live. The app says that it records sound, but it will only record from an audio input. It can't record an online presentation, for example -- at least, it can't record the SOUND of an online presentation. I was in a rush and made this choice in part based on price. So I lost a few bucks on an experiment. I tried recording just the video and then tried using an audio recording program I have to record the system sound. When I started the other program, this app stopped recording. So I got the audio from the presentation, but only a few seconds of the video before it disappeared.
This may be a good app if you are wanting to create your own webcasts, and I guess that's what was intended by the develpers, but it did not work as a recorder to capture an online presentation that already exists. I'll give it a 3 outof 5 because it was easy to use and may work fine for the purpose of creating webinars, but in its description, it says it can capture online videos. It does, but without sound.
Compress time
The compress time is taking three time more than the recording time.
