Heard about gunnysacks? They’re our proprietary method of quickly noting multiple defects on the same system. We’ve grouped together pre-loaded narrative comments that describe individual systems, so rather than hunting through your entire library you can instantly select the appropriate comment right from your mobile app.

Another neat trick? Use the voice-to-text feature to record comments on the photos you take, then use our photo caption to bullets feature to pull together a narrative report right from your notes.

The perfect software

When I started inspecting, I began with Whisper.
I have since tried all the big brands of software and each of them was lacking key features for me. I finally found ScribeWare and I couldn’t be happier. I was fortunate to have several interactions with the developers and they are wonderful guys. I’ve seen several of my feature suggestions come through. I always get responses from them within a couple of hours. I inspect in a very large area and I am frequently told that my reports are the best around, but I know it is because of ScribeWare.

This is a good app for inspectors who like to write their own words once, and keep them easily accessible later. The ability to check or write comments and add pictures seamlessly makes report writing take only as long as the inspection itself.

Best money I’ve spent in my business 10x over.

Amazing software! The default template is robust and easy to navigate. I tried at least 5 different reporting softwares and this was by the best. Fully customizable and intuitive. A la cart pricing to start and an affordable monthly or annual rate. Developer support is second to none. It’s been a driving factor in creating a successful home inspection business.

A little play on words, but if you’re serious about writing reports that actually communicate you findings - - ScribeWare Is for you. Whether you’re goal is to create an abbreviated check box list of items for an “on-the-go” client or a deeper dive for the engineer whose demands include annotated photos, narrative style descriptions, and embedded video, you won’t miss the mark with this software.
