Ratings and Reviews
Websites without ads are incredbile!
It's amazing how accustomed we all are to being tracked as we make our way around the internet and having large portions of the real estate of our web pages occupied by ads. Let's hope apps like this allow more journalism to thrive in the digital age.
love Scroll, one bug
it's a wonderful application and i love it. Made for news junkies for sure. I have one bug, it will not work with The Atlantic. The Atlantic is not recognizing Scroll. Other than that, everything is just fine!
Hidden Subscription Service
There is nothing about a$4.99/month subscription in the description here. This is an expensive subscription service and they are running a waiting list because they are selling something that isn't ready for primetime.
Developer Response ,
Hi, sorry about the confusion! This app is a companion to the service at https://scroll.com and we're currently letting people in off the waiting list to help make sure the service works smoothly as folks join. We charge this subscription fee so that we can help sites fund the work they do without having to show you ads—you can learn more at https://scroll.com/whereyourmoneygoes
