Scry gives you quick and easy access to the d20 version 3.5 System Reference Document (SRD) as well as the Pathfinder SRD.
This information includes races, classes, feats, skills, spells, magic items, monster, traits and psionic powers compatible with the d20 System version of Dungeons & Dragons (D&D), Pathfinder and other various role playing games.
Unlike some other similar apps, Scry allows you to drill down in categories to get to more specific subsets of data instead of having to wade through a huge list of information. For instance, you can view a list of all the spells, or drill down to view all the spells for a particular class or drill down even further to view only the spells for a particular level for the selected class.
Scry is built as a Universal App which means it has been designed for both iPhone and iPad in one application. So, the one app will run natively on an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. No need to pay separately for the iPhone and iPad versions like many other apps do.
Fixed bug that was causing Pathfinder spell listings to be empty if selecting to view spells by class or level.

I had troubles with the app at first but once it was pointed out to me the blue arrows are how you pare down to the class specific spells it became a lot more viable of an app. It could still have a better search feature though.
The search screen disappears as you scroll down, call it nit picking but when I skip to M to find mace and it isn't list, I don't want to have to scroll forever to find the search box.
Really needs a search field...
So I choose this app over the other iPad compatible one because it had 5 stars, however, I believe it should only have three, due to the fact that the app doesn't have a search field look for information right away. Using this app is like using the book, but without the convenience of having the book. Don't get me wrong, it is a nice, stable app, but without some search function, I spend just as much time flicking through lists as I do flipping through pages in a book. The only reason I would want to use a digital version of the rules is to be able to search them quickly.
Again, this is a great app and would be a 5 Star one too, if it had a search (Mainly because it is the only one with pictures on the app store).
I hope a future update adds this search feature (if it is even possible). Then I'll happily give it a 5 Star!
This app saves tons of time on looking up game rules, choosing new spells, etc. This is a must-have for 3.5 gamers: Sometimes I don't even bring my Player's Handbook anymore. :) Works great on both iPhone and iPad (I frequently use it on both). The UI is excellent, far above any other SRD app available.
My only complaint: I really wish I could sort by subtype in other places (such as only epic feats, or only animal monsters). The implementation on spells is perfect, I wish something similar was done with other data types. Or, the text filter could search against the sub-title and/or the the text content as well as the title.
Keep up the great work!
