Description

Reef fish identification has never been so easy and fun!

Scuba FIC is the app to go to when you are out there exploring our amazing underwater marine life.

With Scuba FIC - Reef Fish ID Charts you can identify marine life before and after diving or snorkeling.

Scuba FIC is the first and only app that will help you identify, classify and share what you saw underwater and will also save a list with the spotted critters so you can preserve the memory for ever.

Some of the amazing features:
- Hundreds of critters to identify
- Common critter information (depth, size, classification)
- Log dives with spotted critters and your own images
- Browse dive spots and image gallery

Currently available regions are (6 out of 25):
Try out our ****FREE*** Indonesia and Borneo sample region.
- Bahamas (76 critters in region)
- Belize Cozumel Honduras (104 critters)
- Florida (72 critters in region)
- Cayman Islands (76 critters in region)
- Bonaire (94 critters in region)
- Mediterranean (80 critters in region)

Stop asking the dive shop for those huge and uncomfortable plastic Fish ID Charts!!! Own your own charts, all together on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch so you can use them whenever you want plus it includes tons of information you will never find on classical ID charts, that's what Scuba FIC is for!!

Cheaper than traditional charts and you can take it everywhere, you can use it before going for a dive and right after, on the same boat!!

Scuba diving or snorkeling are amazing activities, but not knowing what you saw underwater, is a shame.

You can also share your spotted lists with friends or even send the information to yourself via email.

Scuba FIC is designed by divers and for divers.

We will be adding new regions very shortly to cover the whole map.

It would be great to know your opinion and requests, so please contact us through the app :)

Very disappointed - small FL fish list, can't type in your own sightings

The Florida fish list is extremely limited, and you cannot add fish to your list that are not in their chart - not even by name! Or maybe to attach a photo you took. $1.99 thrown away! I really can't recommend this app - it is way too limited! I'd give it more stars if you could add your own fish to your list (like birding apps do). But this is mostly useless if you see anything that is not in their maybe 30 list of fish. On my first dive, I saw more fish than what they include!

Developer Response ,

Hi! Very sorry to hear that, the app includes the top critters that you will usually encounter underwater and is not an exhaustive list.

Thanks for your recommendation and we will add it to our features list in the near future so you can enjoy it.

Thanks.

Awesome App!

This app is so awesome. I used it during my trip to the Keys and it definitely enhanced my diving experience. I love how easy it is to go through the list of sea life and check the ones you spotted. You can read all types of interesting facts about them too! This app takes the guessing game out of what you spotted once your trip is over. You can always go back and check out the log kept from your previous trips. That is what I like the most about the app. Thumbs up all the way!

Awesome!

This app is great. I love to go scuba diving when I go on vacation and this app is so useful. It tells you what to look for or when you are done you can look up what you have seen. This is perfect for people just starting out or experienced divers. I love that it shows you the depth of where you plan to dive. It is a must have for anyone going out in the ocean!
