Running this app on a Macbook Pro Late 2013 running MacOS Sierra 10.12. The SDSpeed app (v3.0.1-9) had no issues and did exactly as advertised. Just a comment on the micro-SD card I tested : > Model: Silicon Power 128GB up to 75MB/s Read Transfer Speed MicroSDXC UHS-1 Class10 ($34.99 on Amazon) > Useable space reported by SDSpeed was 117.1GB (MacOS reported 125.8GB ExFAT) > Write speed was 15.56 MB/s (comfortably in the UHS-1 range) > Read speed was 54.98 MB/s (not quite the 75MB/s in the product specs)."

Did exactly what I wanted and tested the speed of my SD and MicroSD cards, now I know which cards work best for large file usage like Dslr camera’s and GoPro cams. One on my cards seems to have been faulty and not going near as fast as the other of the exact brand of card, replacement is now on the way.
