Description

Seabook is an app that makes it easy to find out what kind of fish you've seen underwater!

The easiest way to explore is using our filters:
• Select «Fish», «Creatures» or «Corals, Sponges, Plants».
• Search by color, pattern, location, body shape, social behaviour, tail fin shape, etc.
Or, if you know a scientific or common name, use the Direct Search feature.
• Open the list of marine life that match the specified criteria and find the one you were looking for.
• Enjoy the result: great photo, description, distribution, habitat, lifestyle, legal status, maximum size and depth, and more.

More than 1500 species among fish, sharks, rays, molluscs, crustaceans, echinoderms and etc.

Great solution for diving safari: enable Offline Mode and use the app even on a liveaboard or in remote dive locations without internet connection.

Seabook is the perfect app for scuba divers, freedivers, snorkelers and aquarium enthusiasts who would like to discover what marine life they have met and learn more about them.

Most Species Behind Paywall

Most species appear to be behind a paywall (upgrading to “premium”) which was somewhat expected…also, typo on search page, the filter for “conservation status” reads “CONVERSATION” 🤦‍♂️

Developer Response ,

Thanks for your feedback and good catches on typos - I’ll fix them.

What can be changed in Seabook to get 5 star from you?

Awesome 🤙

Love it! So easy to identify the fish you have seen using the search. This app is the second buddy for me now! 👌Hope the database will be extended 🤞

Developer Response ,

Thanks James. And yes we will continue extend our database.
