We've updated our app with a new Liquid Glass design and compatibility with iOS26.

This update includes two new major features. The first is a manual coordinate entry option. You can input the exact coordinates for a marker position. You can use any coordinate input format including DMS, DDM, or DD. When you've entered a valid coordinate, the preview map will show the marker location. The second new feature is cloud syncing. SeaDrive now automatically syncs your markers, routes, and tracks to iCloud. Open SeaDrive on another device signed into your account and your content automatically appears!

This release of SeaDrive brings an insane number of new features. First off, try the new SeaDrive Artificial Intelligence boat analyzer. New users will see an option to import a photo or snap a picture of their vessel. SeaDrive will automatically determine performance metrics and vessel settings like your draft and cruise speed. You can also access the SeaDrive AI boat analyzer from the vessel settings menu. Your vessel settings will be used to help compute route ETAs, navigation suggestions, fuel burn estimates, and much more. We've also built an amazing shallow water alarm. The shallow water alarm uses your vessels draft configuration to send an alert when your vessel is predicted to enter shallow waters. The feature works both online and offline. While online SeaDrive stores sounding data to minimize internet usage while on the water. While offline, SeaDrive will use your offline chart downloads to finding nearby soundings. The shallow water alarm also features iOS native critical alerts. Critical alerts will sound an alarm even if your phone is silenced or in do not disturb mode. You can disable critical alerts in the iOS settings app. If you disable critical alerts, then regular notifications are used. If the app is open and SeaDrive predicts you'll enter shallow water, then you'll see an alert in the app itself. You can disable the shallow water alarm from the new notification menu directly in the SeaDrive menu. We made some modifications to the weather feature. You can now tap anywhere on the chart to pull up a weather forecast. Previously, SeaDrive was pulling up the weather forecast for the center of the map. This was confusing if you were zoomed out far. Now simply tap, and you'll see an option to get weather data for the exact point you tapped! The GPX file import feature was also enhanced. You can now import multiple waypoints from a single GPX file. Previously this was limited to a single waypoint in the GPX file. This simplifies importing large number of waypoints from GPX data. Lastly we fixed a small bug where the swipe to delete function for offline chart downloads wasnt actually deleting the chart data. We've fix this so you can remove chart data and save storage space on your device.

Three minor bug fixes. First, we fixed an annoying bug on the weather screen where the swell and wind vanes were facing the opposite direction of the true swell and wind directions. Second, we fixed a bug where the button to purchase our Pro product was missing in certain scenarios. Lastly, the new track recording iOS Live Activity properly disappears from the lock screen after your track recording is saved.

We added iOS Live Activity functionality for track recording. See your most important track stats directly on the lock screen and on the iOS Dynamic Island. We also fixed two bugs in this release. The first corrects a problem where the wind & swell direction arrows on the weather screen were facing the wrong direction. The second addresses a scenario where the GPS location puck may disappear under certain conditions. Our apologies!

This release improves the first time user experience by explaining how to enable the radar overlay feature. We also fixed a bug where in some cases the arrow direction for tides & currents was pointing in the wrong direction.

We've added two new major features in this enhancement to SeaDrive. First up is a new radar overlay option. You can now view radar imagery overlaid directly on the chart. Drag the timeline to view a radar loop to show the trajectory of incoming storms and rain. The radar feature is available worldwide. Second is the new instruments mode. In the settings menu, launch the instruments view to see a clean, full‑screen, high contrast display of critical navigation metrics. The rendered metrics currently includes speed, top speed, course, time, bearing to waypoint (while navigating a route), and track duration (if recording a GPS track).

In this release we extended the dark mode theme to the entire app. The full UI including menus, text, and thumbnails will render with a dark background and red text. This will improve low light navigation and will help to preserve night vision. Additionally, when your device/system color theme switches from light to dark, SeaDrive will automatically update the chart theme to the dark option. We also made a small enhancement so the screen remains on while the GPS is active. A minor bug fix is also included which will stop the caliper tool from crashing the app in certain scenarios.

Going off grid? Sea Drive now supports offline charts. You can download charts for any area covered by Sea Drive charts. Great for areas with poor or weak internet and conserving battery. We've also added an option to only use offline charts - regardless of your internet connection status. Downloaded charts can be easily managed and deleted to optimize storage space.
