I was searching for a simple, easy to use application to add some layers to a map image. Other graphic editors were either too complicated and geared to artwork. Seahorse did the trick.What’s more I found a bug and the developer fixed it and updated the software that every day. Now that’s customer service!

When you need more options but don’t have the time to learn a complicated image software application, this is a great tool. For the price, it’s feature rich, and happy to see more development going into it. I work for a fine arts retailer and distributor, and this was a perfect fit for what we needed to do. Highly recommended.

I paid for this app after using the free seashore.Seashore works beautifully. This app doesnot look like any of the screen shots and none of the features shown are actually available. The only thing you can do is move images arround on different layers and then merge them down. There are no brushes, no filters, and no color swatches. I'm not sure what app is being shown in the images and videos but it is not anything like I received.

edit: This was an Apple framework bug when running on OSX 13. I have provided a work-around in version 2.13 by creating a custom toolbar on the right side of the screen.I can assure you it is not a sham. Bugs happen, and it is difficult to test on older OSX versions which I am trying to support. If you want your machine - that I can assume can only run OSX 13 - to have applications available maybe take the time to reach out for assistance rather than posting an off-base review.
