Description

Second Sight is a mobile application developed by a team of students at UC Berkeley, which uses machine learning models and tools to recognize text image and read aloud the content instantly. This application will assist people with challenges to visually read text information. The key product features include a simple application interface, voice prompts and usage warning messages when the application has low confidence of reading the text images. The key functionalities include voice-guided processes that enable the user to capture and save the text object image, and then show the text content on screen with a voice read-out.
