Great!
I love the ability to check in on my 401k using my face to log in! I have a very long complex password which is a pain to type in on a phone. The use of my face to quickly log in allows me to check in easily and often.
Worst financial app available
Securian’s mobile app is terrible. Like, comically bad. It’s as if the creators never bothered to try their own app.
If I wasn’t forced to use Securian through my employer I never would.
Here are some of the top reasons:
1. Investment Performance info is only accessible via PDF. So, if you’re using your phone, it’s incredibly difficult to read.
2. Complete lack of real-time data. Compared to day, Fidelity’s app, Securian is a joke. Securian only shows you historical data, so you have no idea how your investments are actually doing in the marketplace.
3. Statements, like Investment Performance, is only accessible via PDF. So again, why bother creating a mobile app? It’s basically unusable.
4. iPad version is terribly configured. Very difficult UX.
5. Statements access is often inaccessible due to “Technical Difficulties.” The entire a Securian app is one giant Technical Difficulty.
