SeeMusic is a groundbreaking music visualizer and content creator that makes videos of your performance with colors, lights, and particles!
SeeMusic can connect to any keyboard or instrument with a MIDI output, and create cutting-edge dynamic visuals for live concerts.
SeeMusic makes professional music videos quickly and easily! Content creators can edit and save videos of their performances for sharing to Facebook and Instagram.
NOTE: SeeMusic visualizes live or recorded MIDI data, and does not currently process audio files into a visualization.
SeeMusic lets audiences see and understand musical harmony through color. The user chooses a color for each of the 12 musical pitches. As notes are played, the app visualizes each note using the color chosen for that pitch.
SeeMusic has also helped users focus at work, release anxiety, and fall asleep at night. It is a great way to introduce children and teenagers to classical music.
SeeMusic is perfect for owners of Steinway Spirio or Yamaha Disklavier!
The Performance upgrade for SeeMusic contains essential tools for the professional performer. It includes the ability to connect to external MIDI instruments, and record synchronized audio and MIDI data during a performance. The user can playback the visualization of any live performance, even without an instrument on hand.
A Live Camera View is also part of the Performance upgrade, allowing users to show a webcam view of their performance inside the app - perfect for professional live streaming to YouTube using Apple ReplayKit.
Users can also create high quality H.264 videos in the app using Video Capture, an essential feature for professional content creators.
The Performance upgrade also contains a pitch detection feature. The pitch detection feature can create a background color visualization using only the computer’s built-in microphone. It is ideal for vocal or acoustic concerts.

Ratings and Reviews
I just put this app on my iPad and I love it! I have friends who’d been telling me about SeeMusic and how it makes music come alive in the visual realm and they’re absolutely right. It’s a wonder to behold. The visual artistry combined with the auditory impressions of the classical music create a rare and stunning world of synesthesia that would otherwise be inaccessible to me. The customized colors, the appearance of the notes, and the movement of the music across the screen are all part of a visual feast matched by the auditory enjoyment of the music itself. SeeMusic is now one of my “go to”apps whether I’m home alone or hanging out with friends. Everyone will enjoy.
I’m loving this app. I have never studied classical music or learned to play the piano, but I spend a lot of time listening to classical music. I bought the computer version of the app, which is great, but I like having it on my phone. If I’m waiting for something or just want to chill out, I find both listening to and seeing the music to be relaxing. It gives the experience a whole new dimension. I like the fact that I can see the actual notes and the patterns of the chords. Its very different from the many versions of “Fantasia” style music visualization apps. This is the real thing!
I need help
I would love to be able to experience what everybody else is experiencing based on their reviews, but I am having a lot of trouble. My phone is plugged in to the MIDI cord that’s plugged into my Casio CDP-S350, and it does show me that it is receiving the notes pressed on the piano, but when I try and record a song, it records it and when I try to play the MIDI file, it plays the song I just played, but offbeat on a serious level and does not sound like the song at all. And on top of that, it crashes once the last note is played. I tried doing simpler songs like Marry had a Little Lamb, just the right hand, and everything was totally offbeat and weird. I don’t know if I’m doing anything wrong but I’d love some help. Thanks
Developer Response ,
Very sorry to hear that you've been experiencing these issues in the app - I'll definitely help get this fixed for you as soon as possible!
I just tested MIDI recording again with two different keyboards, on both an iPhone 6S and MacOS, and it seems to be working perfectly. Could you please let me know the model of iOS device you are using? The official support email is: firstname.lastname@example.org . If you are able to email over any of the buggy MIDI files you recorded, that would be very helpful as well. Sorry again for the issue, and I hope I can get this fixed for you as soon as possible!
