First please read their refund policy (in the terms & conditions document) before you pay. Next, I was disappointed by the app after being interested by their ads that claim it’s “your personal anti-procrastination plan.” In the app you choose a list of tasks to do during the week and it generates a to-do list. Each day you rate your mood and make notes in a mood journal and then you have this daily to-do list to go through. The app suggests a written solution to a to-do like “visualize you’re on a beach” but there’s no audio/video guidance or timers for timed stuff inside the app. There’s no info about the science (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) is supposedly behind what you are doing or how it’s helping you. The app surfaced zero reminders on my phone about what you’ve committed to for the day (those notifications only started mysteriously appearing after I emailed to complain). I guess if you need a structure to track your mood and a to-do list to build habits, you might find this app useful? Just test it out to see if it’s for you before you pay. Their customer service was fast and very responsive, though.

Helped so much with my mood regulation

I never do these app reviews but seeing so many negative ones I just need to say this. For those who are self diagnosed with adhd (I got my official one after getting this app and being able to focus on doing the research to find someone who could diagnose me with the help of insurance) this can be a really good first step to understanding what it means for you. The lessons are cute and knowledgeable (I wish it would go on after four weeks but ce la vie) and the mood tracker is a LIFE SAVER. Like being able to post multiple times a day (which not other apps do) and go back a look and see what made you feel this week and whether or not you remembered to take your meds and the difference between the two states being written down someone is game changing. The one thing I will say is there was a few days where the app was not working for me at all and that was terrible. But it didn’t happen again and I left off right where I last was.
So yeah, get this app and thank you app developers if you see this (also for the app developers some suggestions for the next update: edit mood entries which includes editing the date and more daily adhd knowledge. Those are like the only things I want lol)

Sangrida ,

I was so excited about this app. I have been feeling anxious, depressed, overwhelmed and worried about work burn out. The time I have during the day is limited and I have been searching for a way to recharge my batteries but with no luck so far. I decided to go for the 6 month subscription on this app because I thought I would need to be all in to give it a chance to work. I didn’t want to be self defeating.

After a few days of using it, I was disappointed. The app would freeze from time to time. But I work in software so I understand those types of issues. What I found most disappointing was that the daily activities were basically reading something short about burn out (which I already knew), journal about my mood, and exercise. I already know about those things and they have not helped me probably because they are two things I hate to do. They make me feel worse and more defeated because it is a fight to do them and then I don’t feel better.

I do recommend trying it, it is better to take a chance that it will work for you. But don’t do the 6 months, start with 1. They don’t do full refunds. Which of course doesn’t help with the defeated feeling of wasting time and money that I didn’t have on something that not only did not help, but made things a little worse.
