Sense-U Baby 4+

I give it 4 stars as there were a few little glitches I’ve notice that could be even better!! Overall I absolutely love it though! As a mom it gives me a peace of mind knowing that my baby is sleeping well and breathing/temperatures are normal. Of course I’m still looking at the app like constantly because that’s what a mom does. The two things I’ve notice as far as glitches and if possible maybe it could be provided in the next updates are...
1- when you put the screen in full screen mode there is a large white box shown on the bottom that shows the breathing and temperature, but it seems to cover the whole bottom area and if my baby is leaned toward the side, that box covers my baby. Is their any way to blend the information in the background, make the box smaller, or put it next to the date/time. I tried to move the box but doesn’t do anything.
2- when you have it full screen mode it only shows on one direction but if you move the phone led to right the screen stays in one place and doesn’t move with the screen
3- the breathing monitor seems to disconnect and connect a few times when on and it’s scary to know that even for a few second/minute you wouldn’t know what it’s intended to tell you. My wifi works fine so it’s not like there is any internet connection

Other than that...it works the way it should be. I love it and thank you so much. Hopefully the next few updates those areas will be fixed. ☺️

I have both the sense-u baby monitor clip as well as the camera and its truly helped put my mind at ease with my little one. The monitor clip gives pretty accurate readings and the app will alert you of any activity even if you have do not disturb mode on. The alert sound is also really loud - my husband and I were woken up to a shock when we heard the alarm go off due to low body temperature readings (the clip wasnt secured to her body and was left out by a window with a draft causing the alarm)

You can turn notifications on and off and can also adjust when the system will alert you of any changes.

The camera is also pretty great. Compared to my Kasa camera that i use in the nursery as well, this camera only takes a second to connect to the app and will stay on in the background even if you leave the app to browse something else. To return to the video camera you can click on the orange button that’s highlighted behind the time to the top left of your phone. The mic will also run in the background so you dont miss anything. Truly a great app. If you were debating on getting this versus a simple home camera Id highly recommend this.

Works well and gives me piece of mind when I lay my baby down in the bassinet but there are a few things I wish the manufacturer would improve:
1) allow more than one phone to hook up to it without having to reset.
2) better clip design; The original clip broke and they sent me a new device. The second package had two clips and one of those broke. It breaks when you try to place the sensor inside so it’s not user error as there is only one way for the sensor to be inserted.
3) when my baby’s position changes the sensor alerts and changes immediately. However, the breathing alert is too much delayed, even when on the 15 second setting. Sometimes we take it off the baby during a clothing change and it will take 5 mins to notify us of weak breathing (it’s not actually on the baby anymore). This alarms me as for newborns, I’m more worried about the threat of SIDS than I am a position change. I’d like to know a lot sooner if weak breathing is detected.
