Sentence Reading Magic provides the missing link between reading words and reading books-reading sentences.
This app works on developing reading skills using short vowels and over 40 of the most common sight words. It has a special section to focus on learning 11 of the most difficult sight words to decode.

Most reading programs go from reading words to reading books. This can be too big of a jump for most emerging readers even if the books used are decodable text books.
This app helps to bridge that gap giving emerging readers a gradual and fun step up from reading words. These short sentences are perfect to help children gain confidence in reading sentences.
This app uses 324 sentences divided into four categories and into 24 lessons.
72 Two-word sentences
84 Three-word sentences
84 Four-word sentences
84 Five word and six-word sentences
Sentence Reading Magic Deluxe has several sight word games for sight word practice. It also has several customizable settings for fonts, voices and reward sounds.
This app has two modes. The first mode is sentence building where children can move the words into their correct sentence position. The second mode is the reading mode where children can read the sentence and then check their work by touching the hidden picture.
The picture is hidden to encourage word reading instead of "picture reading." Most young readers upon seeing the picture will guess its meaning and not even look at the words. The picture is hidden so that the child will read the words first and then only look at the picture to check their work.
Sentence Reading Magic requires that a child is able to consistently and easily read 3-letter short vowel words such as bed, cat, dog, mix and mud. A child who is struggling to sound out most every word needs to develop stronger single word reading skills. If a child has to sound out each word and then, stop and think about each word, by the time he gets to the end of the sentence, he may have forgotten what the sentence was about. This is an indication that the child needs more practice blending, segmenting and building 3-letter short vowel words. The two apps that will help with this are:
ABC READING MAGIC 1 Short Vowel Words
Learn to blend, segment and read 3-letter words.
ABC SPELLING MAGIC 1 Short Vowel Words
Learn to build and encode 3-letter words.

This app is a good way to practice sentences for early learners. My daughter has delayed speech so we work on these all the time. In the sentence building the app says the words too fast so it would be nice to have a setting to slow them down. Also the outside links are not childproofed which is a little frustrating sometimes.
Yes, this is magic to help teach sentence reading.
This app uses over 300 sentences broken down into 24 different lessons. It has four choices of sentence lengths. It starts with 2-word sentences and works up to 6-word sentences. There are about 75 sentences for every type of sentence length category. This app focuses on sentences containing short vowel, 3-letter words. It also uses 40 common sight words. The app has two games. In the first game, children take randomly placed words and arrange them into a sentence. In the second game, children read the sentence and then touch the picture to check their work. There are also a couple of site word games. The interface is nice and child friendly. I definitely like this app and how it has helped the children in my class become better readers. It has helped them read sentences as a whole more fluidly, rather than just being able to read the separate words in the sentences.
I have already got the lite version of this app truns out my daughter loves it, so I purchased this. Frankly speaking, the contents it provides is definitely worth the three bucks I've paid. Love it and I'm looking forward to more powerful and amazing features in the upcoming update in the future.
