A Much Needed App
I don’t about anyone else, but I am grateful for any extra assistance in obtaining money or vouchers for something such as delayed flights, which I never would have filed a claim for in the first place. Service has been amazing and I have successfully received vouchers through the claim they provided. I don’t travel enough to do the yearly cost, so I do the per claim fee and I think it’s fairly reasonable.
The customer service is AMAZING! I have never dealt with a company where I can continually respond to the same customer service person that initially contacted me. I followed up with a claim once and was not only able to easily reply directly, but I also replied a few days later with no issues and spoke with the same person. This does not happen often ! It’s always some automation or oneway email line that is used for customer service at other companies.
At the end of the day, this app is a luxury that I am grateful someone thought of. The more I travel I will definitely be upgrading my membership.
Totally worth it
I’ve had this app for about a year, and I was impressed with it because they got me a couple of airline credits when my flights were delayed. But it was nothing compared to what they did for me last month. I recently had a nightmare experience trying to travel from Rome to Los Angeles on British/American Airlines; a delayed flight caused me to miss my connection and left me stranded in London. The chaos almost made me miss a family wedding in which I was the best man. I got there in one piece but my luggage didn’t arrive. Service contacted the airlines without even checking in with me first and got my companion and me a full refund of our entire tickets which totaled $1500. If that’s not a reason to use this app, I don’t know what is.
Misleading and poor service
I used this service to attempt to rectify a terrible flying experience as it was advertised. They were able to get me 100 dollars refunded however did not state that this voucher had an expiration period. When I emailed to say I was unable to access my voucher was the first time I was informed of this expiration period was when I was told there was nothing that could be done to retrieve this voucher. They offered to refund HALF of the fee charged to me for this voucher I couldn't use. When I asked them to confirm what credit card it was being refunded to (which generally a company should confirm before any action) I was informed it was sent to an account that was closed. At this point they more or less said there was nothing they could do and I should contact by previous bank. So in the end I paid 30 dollars for absolutely nothing. Would not recommend at all.
