The range of features include depth of field, composition assistance, light metering, print resolutions, video and still frame, film and digital, filters, flash, recommendations for shutter speed and lens to subject angular alternates.

SetMyCamera also assists in learning concepts of reciprocity, field of view, angle of view, depth of field, f/stop, shutter speed, ISO and hyperfocal distances. Accessories such as filters, diopters, bellows, speed boosters, extension tubes and teleconverters are supported.

An in-app-tutorial explains the use of each feature. Easy thumbwheel settings for fast inputs without typing. Animated graphics for ease of learning in addition to visualizing result.

SetMyCamera supports iPhones and iPads including an iPhone companion app for Apple Watch. A separate MacOS version is also available for desktop and portable computers.

Angle of view utility to enable positioning a camera according to the available lens and subject to camera distance.

Flash calculations to eliminate the guesswork in configuring for flash photos.

Exposure value and neutral density filter calculations. Reciprocity can also be obtained.

Shutter speed recommendations are available to assist in understanding how to choose the the correct shutter speed to overcome blurry photos.

Standard conversion information for camera and field information is also included.

Extensive list of pre defined cameras or define your own. Supports Imperial and Metric units.
