I moved into my “new” house in the city which is over 100 years old. As soon as I moved it I felt like there were 100 things broken. I didn’t know where to begin. The team at Setter worked quick, helped me understand what I needed. But most of all they helped me transform this place into a home!
Very displeased, suggest avoiding this app
After setting an appointment with Setter several weeks out to repair an appliance, I stayed home all day for my repair person to arrive. When they never buzzed my apartment during the window they were forecasted by Setter to arrive, I quickly contacted Setter, but didn’t hear back from them for over an hour. The repair person didn’t know how to contact me apparently once he arrived at my building, though it’s obvious one needs to dial up the apartment on the front console. First time in ten years in my place I had a problem like this. Bottom line is that Setter did not communicate with the repair person when the apparent hiccup occurred, he left the premises, and thus I wasted my day waiting. Setter admitted dropping the ball but their solution was to offer a small rebate on future work and to reschedule, which would have likely been more weeks of waiting and no guarantee of them successfully working out simple logistics. The old fashion way of dealing directly with someone seems to still be much better as an option.
I’ve used Setter a few times for odd jobs around my house and every time I’ve been left feeling extremely satisfied! The service
was excellent and my experience with Setter was seamless. Easy to submit my request and get the best service possible in a timely manner.
