Great app but can't handle big numbers
I almost love this app. Have used various versions of it for years. BUT it still has the same problems with large/foreign cost values (I work in Japanese yen) as previous iterations. The "costs to go" calculations are wrong. If this were fixed I would overlook the constant crashing, the report formatting problems, etc. It's great for simple stuff, but don't risk your business on it.

Thank you for the detailed review. We have not heard about any issues with large cost numbers or we would certainly fix it. If you have an example project that shows the problem and would be willing to email it, we'd love to see it to assess what is wrong.
Update: after getting the sample project with costs over 350 Billion for a single task, we were able to determine that SG costs are indeed limited to just over 4 Billion. In most currencies that is more than enough, but it appears that in some currencies it is a limitation.
Love the app
I’m going to give this 5 stars as of today. I have used this for a total of 4 projects thus far, and all of them may be light in comparison to PMs who have very intense projects and decades of experience, but for someone with a year under their belt who is working in a corporate office, this is wonderful. I had endless issues with MS Project and this is a breath of fresh air by comparison. I think there are some bugs, like collapse/expand arrows keep disappearing next to my task so I have to double check that there are no subtasks frequently; and the undo function doesn’t work if you click out of your project into a different page for a moment. Overall, however, I would be very disappointed if support for this product stopped and I had to go to some other platform. I am really liking this for what it is. I need to keep working in it to understand the deeper features, but I hope the developer understands the value of this product. Additionally, I’d like to see some dedicated views (like resources). I haven’t found that yet, but I think that could be valuable if they don’t exist.
Powerful Project Management App
Full disclosure. I have been a SG Project Pro 5 user for years and have loved it. It is the best project management software for the PC. Now that I am a Mac M1 Mini user, I had to have SG Project Unity app. Given my knowledge about SG Project Pro 5, it was really easy for me to make the transition. If you are in management, a professional, especially an executive, you need this app. Simple Genius Software has put forth a powerful project management tool.
