Description

SharinPix Offline mobile app is an extension to Salesforce App, Salesforce Field Service Lightning App or any other mobile solution connected to Salesforce.
This extension permits to have a better user experience around gathering pictures from the field and relies on SharinPix Salesforce App for the image management features.

Using this App, you will be able to select from the roll or take pictures, even without connectivity, and get them synchronized to your Salesforce in background. It also gives you the opportunity to add captions, annotations and tags to images.

Do you want to optimize your time on field? Just forget about uploading time, only take care about taking/choosing the pictures and add some value on it!

This mobile app is just an optimized channel for the intensive usage of the SharinPix Salesforce App from the AppExchange that you can also use in a browser or in from any Salesforce mobile App.

Issues

I use this in conjunction with the FSL app. When I open through the FSL app. It loads, then I choose a category like Elevation. As soon as it opens the camera to take pictures for that category. It immediately takes a picture. Please fix. It freezes up a lot or just times out. The pictures I took get uploaded before I’ve had a chance to label them. For some reason, I’ll tap the “Add title or description” box. And the keyboard will not open. So now I have to upload those pictures without labeling. Close the app and reopen or reboot phone. For the keyboard to reappear. For the add title box, we used to get suggestive text. An update got rid of that. WHY? It was very helpful. Why can’t we swipe left to right when looking at a picture to see the rest? We have to exit the picture, then tap on another picture. Ridiculous! Why can’t we make changes to the picture once it’s uploaded? This is really, really bad.

Can’t upload photos

I can only upload photos if I delete the app, re-download it, and re-allow access to photos. But after I’m done uploading them and go to upload the next batch it freezes again. I’m using an iPhone X and iPhone 7 both on iOS 13.2 and it is the same for both.
