The extreme importance of the Tanakh to the Commonality of worshipping Yah.

Okay, I am a deeply devoted Christian. But one who has tremendous respect for Moses, the Prophets, our father Abraham and especially for the guidance and Torah teaching in the guidelines Yah wrote on the stone tablets we commonly call the Ten Commandments. It is so much better to look at them from the Jewish perspective as GUIDELINES for living. Yes there are conditions HE placed in them which are so vividly expressed by The prophets, Solomon, King David, Abraham, and many more.
G-D used the many crises situations in the lives of the Israelites to show His chosen ones that He was there all time to teach why it was necessary to pray and rely fully on Him. We cannot overlook that!!! The word of G-D is thematic in that respect. And I do mean from Genesis to what the common Christian church calls the New Testament and ends with the Revelation given to John.

When I look at how Yeshua used his full knowledge of the Tanakh and especially the Torah or teachings , I understand He was trying to Impart the same message as those mentioned above. He used many crises situations to express that Love which G-D was showing. And, please don’t look at this as proselytizing, I am not! For it is not for me to judge, only G-D has that power and right.

Another common instruction is to pray for the “Peace of Jerusalem “. Another commonality between us. Thank you for your wonderful resource.

Amazing App!

Firstly, I would like to address the Shabbat restrictions. This is a Jewish app that is designed for, and maintained by Jews. While some Jews may not observe Shabbat in the orthodox way, people must understand that the restriction is necessary so that the Jewish developers may observe Shabbat and not worry about crashes or any other maintenance.

Secondly, this is my absolute favorite app that I have on my phone. I find myself scrolling through it as one would scroll through Facebook frequently on a daily basis. It has indefinitely helped me to become a better Jew with reminders on when the prayer times are.

Honestly, if you’re looking to enhance or maintain your knowledge of Jewish traditions, this is a phenomenal app and I just cannot recommend it enough!

Best Jewish APP

I’ve tried so many apps that seem to pale in comparison. This has everything the modern Jew (not referring to denomination) needs. It feels like a training guide for those of us that wish they knew more about tradition & such. From a compass to Jerusalem, to prayers & timers for when to start them, to a kosher timer to let you know when you can follow a dairy meal with meat (if you eat it). This app is very easy to use & I'm really very excited I found it. Looking forward to even more features to come! Thank you. * Am Yisrael Chai. *
