I Love this app service..

This is such an amazing app, for the capabilities of meeting new people, trying out different establishments, paid in 24/48hrs after the shift. Truly an awesome idea and app!! As a recommendation though it needs to change the close off for the employers to be capable of editing for the open shifts. Like the wedding banquet we did last night, if they only needed two or three people at first, but then ended up going to need 5, there only option is to cancel the whole shift, thus losing the 2-3 people already confirmed for it and risk them not reapplying and getting them back into the shift. Plus us shifters and the employer can’t message or talk to each other through here, so lacking communication capability incase of a change. Only have a running late quick response with 2 or 3 times me increments to choose and send for us, and just a cancel shift for the employer option.

Businesses on the shiftNOW platform can edit any shifts that start in more than 24 hours. If a shift begins in less than 24 hours, it cannot be edited; however, the business can post a new shift in the event they need more Shifters. When a new shift is posted, Shifters in the area will be notified and can apply. This also allows accepted Shifters to keep their shift and avoid having to reapply.

Shifters who have been accepted to work a shift may contact the business they are working for through our in-app calling feature. In-app calling is available to Shifters up to two (2) hours before the shift's scheduled start time and up to one (1) hour after the shift's scheduled end time.

Great app! Awesome way to make extra money!

The app is very user friendly and process is smooth and simple, it works great for my schedule having the ability to choose which shifts I work and the hours.

No way to know

If a shift is posted, and I apply, it continues to show "pending" on my end even though the shift has obviously been filled. I just worked a shift that I applied for a long time ago. It has shown pending on my end for weeks. The shift popped back up and I applied. I was accepted this time but the old one was still there on my profile showing as a "conflict". PLEASE make this where the shifter knows the shift has been filled. It is ridiculous for a shift worker to see "pending" or "conflict" or "accepted" at the sane time. Do something like "oh wow. You missed this one, but bla bla" take it off of their applications so they can plan for something else. We are all in this to make money. Please do not make it hard to know if you are working or not.

We appreciate your feedback and are happy to share that we have updated our app to make it easier to know whether you've been chosen for a shift. The 'Not Chosen' status on an application indicates that the shift has been filled and the application has not been selected by the business. Businesses may still select 'Not Chosen' applicants as backups;however, there is no negative effect on rating or reliability in the event the Shifter cannot work.
