The way it tells the camera WiFi password is quite cool. Streaming delay is not too long, performance is quite good, with a TF card installed, you can playback with time shifting. The only thing bugs me is when I share the camera to someone in a different timezone, the time shifting function is confusing. For example, if the camera’s timezone is set to PST (GMT-8), but the viewer’s phone is set to BST (GMT+8) while traveling , the viewer shouldn’t have to scroll back 16 hours just to playback what happened a few minutes ago. (If you think about it, you should get what’s wrong here). This is actually the ONLY use case I cared about, so please fix it, thanks!

I bought two of these to watch my place I was away. I also have two cats and wanted to keep an eye on them too. Worked fine at the git go. Bought two more and they all work fine. Need a good wifi to connect to when setting them up and running them but they work as advertised. Con: you have to buy a large data card to save alerts. Plus noting saves to the cloud. It’s all on the camera. If it gets turned off or you lose power, any/all data is no longer available until you get back and pull the card. If there was an access to a cloud storage system that would make it great.

It’s an ok app, gets the job done. Only wish you could stream video sound in the back ground or when phone is locked. Also it doesn’t send the alerts all the time, and I’ve tested it to try and mJe it go off with sensitivity at 5, only reason giving 3 if not I would give 4 due to not being able to stream audio when phone is locked. But when I do use it I have the app open, would be a lot easier just to hear the sound then unlock phone to see video.
