Ratings and Reviews
Works well
This works well. All you have to do is download the app and if it doesn’t automatically install, install it. Start or Restart FCP-X, as necessary. To view what is available from Shutterstock, first place your cursor over “Window” in FCP-X, then scroll down to “Extensions”, and Shutterstock will be there for you.
It’s a bit pricey for me, but I’m glad to know it’s there for me if I need it in a pinch.
Broken?
Does not import footage, have to manually go to folder and import download stock footage files. Downloads window is empty despite multiple purchases directly through plug in. Was hoping to speed up workflow but this is no better than downloading from website.
Huge Shutterstock fan, but...
Not sure, but this appears to be a scam. I just received notice of this “free” add-on via email. Clicked on the link to download it,but nothing. Something “appear" to have downloaded because when I try to open the new app, I keep getting a message that says “The extension has been successfully installed. Please restart Final Cut Pro.” After restarting FCP several times, I just gave up. Whatever. Download at your own risk. So far, not impressed.
