The Sid Harvey mobile app provides the following features:
• It is a native application that can continue to function even if the user does not have a wifi connection
• It allows you to place orders at any time:
• Customers can place orders
• For any of the ship-to or trucks
• At any of the many Sid Harvey locations assigned to the customer
• You can add items by
• Search for Products-Using a “google” search using partial description, manufacturers, part numbers
• The Quick Order - allows you to scan a barcode to find the item you can also search similar to Search for products
• Shop from History- allows you to reorder items you previously purchased and the items are display with Product groups
• Promotions – Any current promotions will be available to view and purchase
• Shop by Department – you can select a major product group and then select a sub- group. You still have the ability to do a "google" search within the sub-group to refine your selection.
• Email confirmation can be set up to go to the order placer (entered during checkout) and a copy to someone at the company. For example to the technician placing the order and a copy to the purchasing manager.
• The customer can review all previous orders (store, salesperson, web and app orders will all be included) including display of any tracking information if the order was shipped by a common carrier
• Copies of invoices can get emailed to the customer from the Order Summary tab in Order inquiry
• Order History- this shows prior orders that were placed using the Sid Harvey app
• Account info – allow the customer to see the open aged accounts receivable balance
