Description

Sidepic stores images separate from your main photo library.

It’s perfect for photos you don’t want cluttering your main photo library. Maybe it’s pics you don’t want synced by the Photos app, images you gather from the web, or any other photos you just want to keep separate. Sidepic stores photos on your device so they are always available, just off to the side.

It’s easy and convenient to get photos into Sidepic:
– add from your Photo Library albums
– share photos to Sidepic from other apps
– paste images from the clipboard
– share pictures from other apps to Sidepic
– import from iCloud Drive (save your image in the Sidepic folder for automatic import)
– capture a photo directly from the camera

Sidepic is built for the latest iOS versions, featuring a simple and intuitive design. Sidepic keeps the focus where it belongs: your photos.

Note that Sidepic is limited to 50 photos. To store more photos, you can unlock Unlimited Photos using the in-app purchase.

What’s New

Version 2.2.0

New in 2.2:
– Capture camera photos directly into Sidepic — they don’t go into your Photos library first.
– Swipe up or down to conveniently dismiss a photo and return to the grid view.
– The viewing, zooming, and paging experience is improved and more familiar.

Feature request

Would it be possible to add albums/folders for images? It would also be nice if there was a tagging feature where one could add tags to a photo

Would it also be possible to add the ability to share more than one photo to the app? When attempting to share more than one selected photo, I am unable to import to the app. I know you can import more than one within the app itself, but if one wanted to share from a cloud service or another photo app, we are limited to only one at a time.

As the other person stated, it would be nice to have iCloud syncing enabled. I just got a new phone and no data was transferred

Thanks

Great concept and good execution

A couple of humble requests for future versions:

- When I take a photo from the app, it is forcibly cropped to a square shape. I’d prefer an option for full frame.

- It’s not clear if these photos are backed up to iCloud drive (separate from the default Photo Library, of course), but it seems like they are not. As such, if I lose or damage my phone, it seems like these photos will be lost. I’d like iCloud sync - I’d LOVE Dropbox sync.

Thanks!

Album Pretty Plzzzz

Okay, I have to admit that this app is exactly what I'm looking for. None of the other apps are what I'm looking for. I will undoubtedly use this app, but only if it supports folders and albums so that I can find pictures in an organized manner.

If this app finally allows me to create folders or albums, I'll give it 5 stars.
