Each field is customizable, if you want to store an ID number, simply update the name of the appropriate field in the configuration screen. Abandon forms auto-submit after 10 seconds.
To get to the configuration, simply select the white circle icon on the bottom right of the screen. You can protect the configuration screen by configuring a passcode, available in the details view of the app.
If you forget your passcode, you can add a master password using your phone's settings.

Does one thing, and does it extremely well!
We needed a simple app that we could use at trade shows to collect names and email addresses from attendees. Everything else we looked at was either bloated with extra 'features' we'd never use or so overpriced to be laughable. SignUp offers just enough flexibility in configuring how it is set up to appear to be a much more expensive, custom written app while still being intuitive to set up and use. I bought an earlier version, and made a couple feature/enhancement requests and received a quick reply from the developer. Further discussion ensued and two of my requests made it into this version. That's great customer support! Looking forward to using this app at trade shows and events for a long time to come!
Love it, but can't fit to mail chimp
Really do like the app a lot. Very simple and user friendly. However, I need to share to mail chimp and it will only allow me to open a "read-only" file in Excel. Which means I would have to rewrite every email into MailChimp myself!!! Hoping creators can help, otherwise this app is pointless and I could've just taken emails in a text app.
So I figured out there's a specific way you have to save it so that mail chimp can upload it.

Works as advertised, but could be so much more
I use the Sign Up app to check in people at events. It works quite well, once people quickly getting used to the iPad interface. I especially like being able to customize the app's fields, but wish there were more customizable fields. Also, I really appreciate the .csv export of the data because I can open it in Excel and then import the list into my email program (Constant Contact); on the downside, the exported data mushes two fields together, e.g., rather than maintaining separate first and last name data, they get combined; the same happens with the third and fourth field, which I used for email address and city of residence, so combining those makes no sense at all. It would also be good if the app recognizes people from previous events and autofills their data. All in all, a good program that could and should be much better.
