Just ok. Hoping for notifications in future update please

This app is exactly the same as the website. It works usually and is easier to access than loading the webpage on my phone when I’m on the go, but there don’t seem to be any other benefits to the app. I downloaded this app hoping that I could receive in-app notifications for sign-ups, so I would know when someone signs up rather than an email or having to search through each sign up slot manually. In future updates, notifications would be very helpful.

Lots of room for improvement

We use this app for scheduling about 35 volunteers weekly. Some functions are available on the mobile app. But it’s clunky. You can’t easily look in advance without scrolling through tons of other data for a future sign ups.
When our volunteers make a mistake on their sign up (we have about 10 slots) we can’t easily change that even with administrator access. And it can’t be done from the mobile app. It must be done on a tablet or a desktop.
What I’d really like to see for volunteer versus slot changes is an admin user that can click on the volunteer delete them and place them where you want them!
When are we going to see an updated version?

Use website instead. Terrible.

This app has no benefits vs. using the sign up genius website, and is actually slower and clunkier. For a daily sign up, it defaults to beginning of the month, with no full calendar view option as on the website. So, it takes quite a bit of time to scroll through each day to get to the date you’re looking for—especially at month’s end. As well, there is no option for notifications of new sign becoming available or to notify of imminent events you’ve signed up for. Also, there is no direct link to calendar app; in order to link to calendar you need to open the confirmation email and insert it from there. Save your time and use website (which is also ad-riddled and not so great but at least it’s quicker).
