Ratings and Reviews
A great replacement to Simplify, and more
I was a heavy user of Simplify as I switched between multiple music players/browsers throughout the day, and macOS' media controls were lacking for my needs. But Simplify was stopped being maintained and eventually broke, so I gave Silicio a try. Not only does it fills in as a drop-in replacement, I find it more stable and is much more reliable with a Touch Bar. The Mini Player is also has a better UI. Really happy with finding this app!
Exactly what I was looking for.
Needed an app that simply displayed only album art, could lock in position, and allow for a quick way to change the track.
It would be awesome if the album art could also have another preview mode that would spin the album art like a vinyl turntable. Maybe that’s what Disc does, but it doesn’t seem to work for me, it only displays the “Square” version. Still 5/5 in my book though!
This is the perfect app.
This mini player widget is exactly what I needed. I love album art and this widget can showcase that. Also, it lets me change music in a jiffy. Sure I can use the magic touchbar thing on the laptop, but sometimes, I have to dig into menus (or out of them) to skip a song. Forget that. With this, I can easily switch songs in a jiffy. 10/10.
Itt's really good. I think everyone should have it.
