Quickly view the architecture of a running application on an Apple Silicon Mac
Silicon Info is a tiny menu bar utility that allows you to quickly determine if an application is running natively on an ARM processor or translated through Rosetta 2
• Simply open Silicon Info and click on the CPU icon in the menu bar to determine an application's architecture
• The menu bar icon itself will indicate if the current application is running natively on Apple Silicon with an additional indicator dot.
Silicon Info provides an elegant way to view the architecture of your application without sifting through Finder menus or searching through the Activity Monitor

Great Helper App for Apple Silicon Macs
I love being able to see quickly when an app is running through Rosetta x86 emulation. Someone on Reddit also recommended using Bartender to show the icon only when it's detected an Intel app, which you can do by adding a "Show for updates" entry for this app based on the icon (since the icon changes when it detects the foreground app is x86).
Great, With One Suggestion
I love this app. The one suggested change, if possible, would be for the menu bar icon to have two distinct states that allows the user to quickly view the supported processor without having to select the menu bar item.
Idispensable
I've had this app since day one of owning my M1. It has really helped me quickly determine if an app is Native or Intel without the need to open Activity Monitor. Even better is the fact that the dev provides this for free and doesn't harvest any data. True hero.
