Description

John Conway’s Game of Life is a well-known cellular automaton. In Life, “cells” live on a two-dimensional grid and survive, reproduce, and die based on four simple rules:

Any live cell with fewer than two live neighbours dies.
Any live cell with more than three live neighbours dies.
Any live cell with two or three live neighbours lives on.
Any dead cell with exactly three live neighbours becomes a live cell.

Can’t zoom out

I can’t zoom out to see the larger pattern

Good basics

I got this app for the iPhone, and I works great. There are only three problems:
1. Screen. It is small, I wish you could zoom and/or turn wrapping on/off
2. Patterns. I wish you could save more than one of your own patterns
3. Pasting. It would be great if you could make the app have the ability to convert rle formats, so you can cut/paste patterns.
Over all, it is a good starting app that I would recommend. If you have a computer or an iPad, get golly. It is bigger, but much more powerful, with all the problems in this app fixed. However, there is no iPhone/touch app

Pretty good

However, when I press the refresh button, nothing shows up on the list, so I can't click on anything to make the menu go away. I have to exit and close the app via the app switcher/task manager before being able to use the app again. On iOS 9.2.

Other than that, this app is pretty good.
