Siri is the personal assistant that helps you get things done, while protecting your privacy. The new version of Siri, Siri AI, is now more conversational, so you can have rich conversations across the system. And for moments when you want to go back to a conversation, you can turn to the new Siri app.
Your conversations, everywhere. Launch the Siri app to see an overview of your past conversations, organized by recency. The app brings conversations together from across your devices — privately synced using iCloud — so you can start on iPhone, continue on iPad, and finish on Mac or Vision Pro. You can search to find past conversations, and pin ones you revisit often so they show at the top of the app.
Find what you need. With personal context understanding, Siri can search across supported apps like Mail, Messages, Photos, Notes, Reminders, Journal, and Calendar to surface what you're looking for. And developers can add support for their apps so that Siri can search across them too.
Get answers. Siri can provide detailed, up-to-date answers on virtually any topic. And because it understands your personal context, it can answer questions like “What’s the closest beach to Tom’s house?"
Get things done. Siri can take action across your apps, like drafting an email, adding photos to a shared album, getting directions with a stop along the way, and importing a set of events to your calendar.
Siri is available across platforms, including iPhone, Mac, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple Vision Pro, and CarPlay.
Siri “A.I.”. Heh. Yes, I do have the “new” Siri. Siri Pro. Typing on my iPad Pro w/ M5. An AI chat bot who can’t really do anything. The #1 answer from Siri is “sorry, I can’t do that, here’s some online instructions”. Supposedly it learn. Eh, ok, I mean focus groups still don’t swap like they should. Compared with where AI systems actually are today, not just frontier models but even local downloadable models..Siri “AI” is years behind if you can even call it the same thing. Like they duct tapped a chatbot to classic Siri…which is exactly what they did. The same preapproved action list just with more verbose explanation of how it can’t do things. My phone should be the central agent command running things, but nope, still MCP tunnels to actually capable agent who has to operate outside of the “walled garden”. Such a miss. Apple feels so out of touch with where systems today are heading.
Broken & Useless
EZ DANGER
Siri was working then I just started receiving “uh oh looks like we’re having some problems “ error messages. The only thing or the only response I now receive from Siri is “Hello” or “ Hi there!” I can’t even delete this useless app! WOW Apple. I’m sure you guys will not read one review that has been written about Siri AI saying how it’s garbage because it’s absolutely broken.UPDATE: So I did a factory reset Erasing all Settings and data on my iPhone to see if it would have Siri AI work again. Siri AI started to work. Siri AI also was working seamlessly and I found it to be better than Siri Classic. But I’m still giving it 1 star because there’s a limit to how many questions you can ask. Or how much you use Siri AI. I did read it in the small print, but I can’t believe Apple would put a cap on how many times you can use Siri AI or its other AI functions. I didn’t even ask that many questions either. I’m just going to say that it is very limited. The amount of times or questions one can ask. This is ridiculous. Also in the fine print I read that Apple will start to charge a small fee for extended use with the Siri AI feature in the future. This is ridiculous. So now Siri AI is giving me the same answers, that it is running into issues again. Thanks Apple! I just happened to read the very fine print. Not everyone does though. So this may be the reason as to why it’s not working for those who are getting the very same “running into some trouble” responses like me.

I’m pretty sure that there’s not enough space to tell you everything that I’ve done with it so far. So I’ll just give you a few. I like that it connects everything. I will say you wanna ask for a summary because if not, it will show you a whole bunch of apps instead of the information that you need. But once you ask for a summary of maybe a person or a thing or every morning I ask for a summary of my day to include all of my reminders and any notes that I need to remember about anybody who’s on my schedule. Beautiful summaries. It connects so many things together from a whole bunch of apps. Also, I think it’s cool that you can be honest screen and if you have the information that you’re trying to put into a text box, you can just push your button for SIRI and say what you want to fill it in with. For example, there was a text box and I needed to put somebody’s phone number in there, but I didn’t have their phone number available in my head rather and so I said which contact and it put the phone number in the text box. It was not a messenger or anything like that. It was something in chrome. Anyway, I love it.
It’s still not ready.
Stagedive
Apple waited years to ship a real personal assistant, advertised the personal-context Siri in 2024, delayed it in 2025, and only put Siri AI out with iOS 27 in September 2026. It is still labeled a beta. They settled a class action over features sold with the iPhone 16 that did not show up on time.It is better than old Siri at finding things in your own messages, mail, and notes. That part actually works a lot of the time. A structured 125-prompt test after launch got roughly 110 clean hits, with the misses clustered on Health and on apps Apple has not wired up.Day-to-day actions are the problem. It fails or regresses on stuff classic Siri handled: lists, alarms, timers, Home controls. Responses are often slow. Failures come back as “something went wrong,” a wrong guess, or a generic brush-off instead of doing the task. Being better than 2018 Siri is not the bar. A voice button on a phone has to execute reliably, and this one does not. That is an execution failure from a company this size. They demoed a product they could not ship, kept the marketing up, then needed a ground-up rebuild and outside models to get a beta out two years late. Shipping it while basic commands are worse than before means somebody was not willing to say it was not ready. It needs updates. Better than the old one is not the same as good.
