Fun ski racing game
The recent update has been fabulous! I really enjoy casually playing it. It’s pretty realistic and there are many variables. I’m sure over time it will get even better. For old ski racers, it’s a fun way to pass some time.
New update ruined mechanics
UPDATE:
I mean seriously, how can the physics be so bad that you lose speed going downhill on Garmisch. This game is now absolute trash.
Been a big fan of this game, and though I appreciate new content, the updated mechanics completely ruined the game for me. I was a top 200 player in the old competitive ranking. It feels like a worse game, the movement feels sluggish, and a staple track, St. Moritz for example, used to be a fast track, now I can barely get up to 80 km/h, the new flags are also off, whereas in the old version you could play to get as close to the flag as possible, the detection doesn’t feel perfectly calibrated. The new career mode is a great concept, but it should have been an addition rather than the only playable mode. I know ranked is coming, but I feel the game will not be as exciting.

Update to version 2 takes all of the fun out of it
I enjoyed casually playing this game and attempting to get the weekly challenges. Now, the visuals make it hard to see upcoming bumps, causing you to randomly lose control as you go airborne. Also, if you even touch a flag you missed the gate. Before, you had to actively touch one to be considered passing closely. Now, if you are between the gates but next to the flag, you missed it. Lastly, the requirement to level up through the career before you can use the gear you earned in the old version, as well as the upgrade system is very frustrating.
