SkiFree 4+

This runs GREAT on my iPhone 7 and surprisingly rubbish on my iPad Pro. I haven’t had it crash on either, but the weird thing is on the iPhone it defaults to landscape mode (makes sense) yet it works in portrait on my iPad. ONLY in portrait on my iPad, which seriously smooshes and distorts the look of the game.

I do like that you can change the controls, but it unfortunately just isn’t as addictive on a little phone as it was back in the day staring at a computer screen.

Ps, yes there is no sound. Because the original never used sound either!

I didn't think it would be hard for a person to recreate a simple port of SkiFree, but as usual the creators for this app simply doesn't care if its good. Here are the main problems with this app.

The jump button is very picky and 50% of the time you hit the button, it wont even work. As for the controls for moving your character its just as screwy as the jump button, they're super picky.

The best control you can have for this game is the tilt control, even then moving your character is quite the headache. Besides that its way too much work trying to get your character down the slopes without wanting to snap you're apple device in half.

all these problems can be fixed with a simple update for the app, but seeing how the creators haven't done this yet makes this app look like its abandoned.

We can only hope that this app gets an update.

What gives? It’s like losing your money to the vending machine. It’ll take your money and then say the items out of order.

Don’t buy. I bought it and once opened, screen turns blank. I try go to app select/close screen and shows its running. Try open it but a black blank screen continues. I tried turning it off and on again. No luck. WOMT!!!
