Sky-jo is a fun and competitive card game for all card game lovers, and now available on mobile！
This classic card game will get you hooked and you won't be able to stop playing!
Similar to the number solitaire game, Sky-jo requires players to think strategically to Win. With its simple rules and engaging gameplay, it has become a tycoon in the world of number card games, enjoyed by players of all ages and skill levels.

How to Play:
Deck: 150 cards, with values ranging from -2 to 12.
Deal: Each player gets 12 cards, arranged face down in a 3x4 grid. The remaining cards form a draw pile, with one card placed face up next to it to start the discard pile.
Reveal: Each player flips two of their 12 cards face up.

Gameplay
Turn Options: On your turn, you can either: Draw the top card from the draw pile. Take the top card from the discard pile.
Actions: After drawing or taking a card, you can replace the drawn card with one of your face-down or face-up cards. The replaced card goes to the discard pile.
Discard: Discard the drawn card without replacing any cards. You must flip one of your face-down cards face up instead.
End Turn: Your turn ends after discarding a card or replacing one of your cards.

Ending the Round
Condition: The round ends when a player has all their cards face up.
Scoring: Players reveal all remaining face-down cards. Add up the values of all face-up cards.
Special Rule: If the player who ended the round has the highest score, then that player's score is doubled. Otherwise, scores are added as they are.

Winning the Game
The game continues till someone reaches 100. The player with the lowest total score at the end of the game wins.

Additional Rules
Column Bonus: If all cards in a column are the same value, they can be discarded automatically.

Fun but glitchy

I like the practice, but multiple times the game just exposes my last card without my selecting to do so. This has led me to lose one online game and one offline game that i otherwise would have won. Not a crisis, but unfair, since games require a bet.

Also, the robot’s algorithm is so unrealistic. Not even an 8-year-old would use their programmed strategy.

Again, i do enjoy the practice, but the game could use improvements, especially the glitch involving one’s last card.

Could be much better

We play this game a lot as a family and really enjoy it. The app doesn’t replicate the actual game very much at all. The app’s organization of the cards is not the same so it is much harder to play defense (prevent an opponent from getting a specific card). Most games on the app are played against AI generated bots with phonetic call sign names (Alpha, Beta, Charlie etc.). The bots are easy to beat and their discards are entirely predictable. Hypothetically if a bots lowest card is a -2 and then it has the opportunity to pick up a -1 it will not pick it up because it’s algorithm is to search only for lower cards that their highest card showing (it will replace a 10 with a 9 if it can which no human would do). When other human non bots are playing it is much more enjoyable BUT many times the app simply glitches during the game or between rounds. I’ve had rounds where I got all 4 columns to disappear and the game simply stops because i don’t think it was programmed for that to happen. Lot’s of glitches. Still fun but you need a numb mind to enjoy kind of like playing solitaire and you need a ton of patience.

Several red flags

Playing against the computer almost feels like the game is rigged. The computer makes unrealistic choices which screws you over. The online option feels like playing against computer. Also has connection issues. Playing against friends and family is a neat option, however you can only do it when everyone is available at the same time. There is no taking your turn and waiting for another person to take their turn when they are available to do it. And there is no option to contact the company to report problems or make suggestions. Love the game, but the app needs a lot of work.
So frustrated with this app. Playing with other friends is pretty much impossible because of connection issues. The app our of the blue disconnects from the game and it won’t reconnect. It just says joining room and nothing happens.
The creators of the app are way behind.
