I love that because it’s connected to Bluesky, it automatically follows the creators I follow there! It was such a great surprise to see one of my favorite content creators show up on my feed and that I was already following them! I noticed the double-tap “like” feature inconsistently lags. I’m also going to parrot feedback I saw requesting dates and timestamps on the video. It’s so neat to see it respond to my interactions in real time! Can’t wait to see as it continues to grow!

ETA: bummed to see there’s no “repost” feature. I’m guessing that’s by design since there’s such an emphasis on creators owning their content?

Also noticing that trying to watch videos directly from the “Liked” tab on my profile is not working. Clicking on videos in that tab produces a “Cannot Load Video” error message.

First of all, i don’t know why this app is so hard to find on here when typing in the exact name of the app. I hope Apple is not attempting to shadow ban it!

But anyway, this app looks great. Functions very similar to TikTok and with TikTok’s fate in the U.S. being VERY MUCH uncertain, it’s nice to know that we have a new social media space to stay connected, share information and ideas, express ourselves, laugh a little and—most importantly—not face arbitrary censorship.

I love that this app has “no true owner”, the users will dictate where it goes next. I just hope its algorithm continues to prioritize diversity of content and does not become locked in on only what individuals engage with. Only time will tell! But this is a great start.

So I was a beta tester of this app for a couple months before it went public, and I loved it, up until recently. I haven’t been able to upload a video, and I get no errors as to why that’s the case, the video just “loads” endlessly, and ends up in my drafts when I exit the app. No amount of time fixes it either. Tonight alone, I let my phone sit 2 hours untouched and still, no upload, just another draft (and this isn’t my first time doing this).

The support page only suggests very basic IT protocol (which makes sense, as an IT person myself), but theres no way to report an issue other than posting on Bluesky and hoping the devs see it.

I want to say I’m appreciative of this app and didn’t want to write this review below 5 stars, as during the beta, feedback was easily tracked, and features were easy to test, and for the most part, either worked, or were quickly addressed to make work

But considering the lack of processing for issues within app is non-existent, I have to until not only my issue is fixed, but until there’s some sort of ticketing system in place for users to know that issues beyond user error can be addressed properly (and if there is one, that it is easier to find than it is currently)
