Description

The first "do" app!

The "List" is a companion app for Slash, the desktop productivity machine. It helps add, edit and organize tasks while on the go and save for later. Get them ready for slashing sessions when you are back at your keyboard.

Slash Desktop Features:

Hyper Focus
While you work, your current task stays pinned to the bottom of the screen.

Stay in Flow
When the task is complete, get a ‘winning’ GIF and choose to take a break or start the next task.

Smart Sorting
Mark new tasks as Urgent / Important / Difficult to automatically sort them for maximum productivity.

Seamless Sync
Need to use other task management apps? No problem. Add any number of synced lists from Trello, Asana, Todoist and more.

Pomodoros
The GTD technique of working for 25 minutes intervals with 5 minute breaks.

And much more. Make sure to get both apps for full work flow.

Enjoy slashing your day!

Where is the iPadOS version?

I love this app on desktop and in my opinion, it is hands down the best app for showing my to-do list who’s boss. That said, there are times when I want to have it open on my iPad so that I can see what I need to do during the day and the iPhone version is not cutting in. I would happily stop paying for Todoist right now and give that money to Slash, but I need an iPadOS version before going all-in on it.

Mobile app severely lacks desktop functionality...

You can’t Slash tasks on mobile. In a world that has gone mobile, this app has little to no features of its desktop big brother.

The mobile app needs timer function to see how long tasks take you, even if it’s a modified version of the desktop app.. It also needs an iPad app. I also couldn’t find an email address for customer support on developer’s website.

Slash List has the potential for greatness once the mobile app can be used independently of the desktop app.

Ransom

I liked the app, but not the bad form shown by the developer, which locked me out without warning when I hit the limit of “free” slashes. At that point it was a sign-up-or-you’ll-never-see-your-uncompleted-tasks-again ransom note. Thanks guys! Hope I remember them, but I’m forgetting you.

That’s the kind of obnoxious sales tactic that makes it easy to decide against giving you money every month. Don’t get me wrong. I subscribe to many apps when the value is good. I don’t expect a service for free. But I don’t like the way you do business.
