Only for sleep ,

Take the name literally

This will make you happy if you are only looking for.a sleep timer. It’s got the black background so things stay a bit darker if your screen is kept on… HOWEVER if you want a timer for ANYTHINGN ELSE this is not for you, the window will not allow you to re-size it any smaller than about half of your screen resolution. I wanted it to keep me from spending too much time at my desk playing video games, but it takes up quite a lot of my desktop and keeps me for using other applications without them overlapping. SO, take the name of the app literally. It does its intended purpose quite well.

It does everything it says it does.

This is a solid alarm clock app. It has a variety of alarms that range from fairly gentle to genuinely irritating (which is good, in this case). The paid version offers the ability to set more than one alarm, but I don’t really see that being necessary for most people.

The only two gripes I have are:
- the interface, for being so simple, is strangely unintuitive. Maybe it’s just me. I appreciate artistic minimalism, but the route to some of the functions is confusing;
- I really wish there would be a built-in function to sleep the screen. On my MacBook, which has neither a Power button nor a Lock button, apparently, the only way to turn off the screen without putting the computer to sleep is to use Hot Corners, which is, to me, really annoying. If the MacBook would have an intuitive way to do this fairly simple feature that would be nice, but barring that, it would be great to have that as a button on this app.

Pretty but didn't fuction properly

Buggy. Three stars for the overall design though. Misdirection of customer service is kinda what led me to less stars. I enjoy poking around at my tech and app stuff but this didn't perform well for me and proved it does not have what I need in an alarm app. When I reached out to Apple for a refund of the upgraded version I purchased, I was directed to the third pary's website to ask for a refund there. Third party then directed me back to Apple with instructions in how to get my refund. I applied their instructions that actually had me do the same thing I did before. Apple tried to redirect me again -- So I changed up how I reported the issue. I may just find a different alarm app. One that I used to use. Thanks but no thanks.
