This is the best sleep course ever - got rid of my insomnia

I have struggled with insomnia on and off for about 2 years. I’ve listened to every podcast there is out there to help, on one of the podcasts I listen to someone recommended this app. Of course I was hesitant because I had never found something that fully cured my insomnia. It would get better for a couple weeks/months but it would always come back. With the tools that I’ve learned in this 30 day course I am confident that whatever comes up, I will be able to move forward with my life. This course is only $30 and has tons of other courses that you can take and I’m excited to try them. I just finished the 30 day insomnia sleep course and ever since I started I’ve been sleeping at least 7 hours a night. I can’t say enough good things about this course, I highly recommend!

Actually helped

About two months ago I started experiencing very intense insomnia after one night of bad sleep that snowballed. I panicked and starting reading everything about insomnia, which just made things worse. The more I read the less sleep I got. I tried CBT-I but it didn’t work for me (even though I like CBT for other things). I had sleep medicine from my doctor that only worked occasionally. I tried melatonin and valerian root, nothing worked. I finally thought I’d try ACT and stumbled upon this app. 30 days later and I’m not afraid of sleep. I sleep well most nights. This could just be regression to the mean, but the app helped me realize that I can’t control sleep. CBT had too many rules for me and my insomnia was definitely a result of anxiety about sleep, so a program short on rules and high on acceptance was great for my particular brain.

Worth its weight in gold!

This app has without a doubt changed and saved my life. I’ve tried countless apps and OTC sleep aids to fall asleep. I’ve tried traditional therapy along with prescription medication. All of those methods only work for so long before they become obsolete. The teachings in both the Sleep School app and in the corresponding book “The Sleep Book” are tools that not only benefit your sleep, but your every day life. I have nothing but good things to say about this app and the teachings therein. Thank you thank you thank you for creating such an amazing course.
