Improved Coaching

I am one of thousands who has been using the prior versions of Sleeprate for years.

The newest version (1.0.7), however, includes specific coaching on how to improve your sleep. Based on an initial week of sleep, it suggests when to go to bed and when to get up. (Getting up at a consistent time 7 days a week is crucial.) I have found that by the end I was falling asleep within 1 minute of clicking the sleep tracking button as my head hit the pillow. The interesting thing was by the end of the program I was awakening within 5 minutes of my target time without an alarm. Most importantly, I had fewer days when I was dragging from fatigue during the day.

In prior versions I used the Smart Alarm function that could awaken me up to 20 minutes earlier, depending on what stage of sleep I was in. The coaching wasn’t as fine tuned then, and my sleep wasn’t as consistent so it would normally just awaken me at the set time. I wonder how it would work now that I’ve gone through several weeks of the program.

No other reviews???

I was surprised to see no other reviews of this app yet the developer claims 100k users. Hmmm.
I was very pleased with the sleep questionnaire to establish a “sleep score”. The questions were in depth and I think the user could track their progress night to night on quality and quantity of sleep.
However, only through subscription could these be utilized and at $9.99/month, don’t feel like it’s worth it. I was also looking for a morning alarm function which this app does not have.
I will be cancelling my free trial.

This current app is the new generation of the Sleeprate app, a renewed version implementing Sleeprate has learnt along the years from more than 100k users. Therefore, there are no reviews on the app store, yet you can find some of the historic reviews and testimonials on other platforms and on Sleeprate’s website. Beyond monitoring sleep, the subscription for the app provides a personally tailored guidance program to better sleep for so many who need to solve some of their sleep problems. Thank you for the suggestion regarding the alarm feature. The morning alarm has been removed from our app to avoid redundancy as the native alarm is available on the iPhone.
