You didn’t track your sleep last night ... and now you never will!

“You didn’t track your sleep last night ... and now you never will!” This is what the app should state when you miss a night of tracking apparently. After skipping a night of tracking the app refuses to move past the “You didn’t track your sleep” message when the green “Track my sleep” button is pressed. The issue persists despite having force closed the app, turned the phone off and on, and even having reinstalled the app.

Side note: The cartoon sleep doctor is blindingly white at night when setting up the tracking. Any chance we can get a cartoon doctor of color as an option? A win for inclusivity and our tired eyes.

Overall, the app seemed to work fairly well before the tracking problem started. I still doubt the accuracy of the fall asleep time though - No way am I asleep in 2 minutes flat.

UPDATE: Can’t connect to server

Since my previous review, tech support contacted me and resolved the problem. I updated the rating from a single star to a 4. I did not give a 5 because the app did not update normally, I had to delete the app and reload the app for the latest version to take effect. Previous post: It worked for a week and then just stopped working a brings up a constant error that it can not connect to server. All my other apps work fine. Also, before that happened I didn’t want to do the current challenge of going to sleep and waking up at the same time each day. I go to 5:30 am classes at the gym during the week and like to have a different wake and sleep time on weekends. The app would not let me just continue tracking my sleep it kept forcing me to sign up for the challenge. Now it errors out anyway!

Regarding the challenge, sleep experts will tell you one key to optimal sleep and recovery is maintaining a consistent schedule. This starts with sticking to roughly the same wake-up time every day - including weekends. We understand life can get in the way of that sometimes, you can ignore the suggestion if you'd like, but we would not be doing our job if we did not emphasize the importance of this step. I hope the app is able to help you as it's helped so many already. Sleep well!

Using with apple watch, does not record sleep

I was excited to use this app with my Apple Watch, but ever since linking the two my sleep is not being tracked properly even though I press the tracking button before I go to sleep. There doesn’t appear to be a problem with syncing with my watch or the Health app but no data is being recorded when I use my watch. I was hoping to get adequate heart rate data to use with this application but since nothing is being recorded at all it’s pretty much useless. None of the troubleshooting I’ve tried has worked, even disconnecting and reconnecting the watch, I hope this can get resolved.
